  1. Yes, your way it's more NW it seems WNW, here. Probably make me and you, who knows?
  2. I've just noticed. Is that rain to my SE actually coming W?
  3. Now the sun is slowly going down, more convection is happening over the sea which is good thing for me being just a few miles N from the S coast of Devon.
  4. Looks like that cell to the SE is weakening. It might intensify as it reaches land.
  5. That cell to the S is still holding on. Will it get here?
  6. A cell pushing in from the SE, now. Can see it clearly. The structure is more like a weak shelf cloud than a normal shower.
  7. I hope those torrential downpours get here from the SSE. They look tasty!
  8. Lovely and sunny now after a light shower this morning, here. I hope those imports from N France get here.
  9. A bit E don't you think? The first convective shower has developed over Honiton and is moving NW. It is currently moderate rain, at this stage.
  10. I wonder if today will be the last real day of thunderstorm risk. I would really like some action over tomorrow and the weekend. But, it's looking less likely now. Views?
  11. Torrential rain all of last night, here. Not a single flash of lightning or rumble of thunder. I woke up at 02:00 to the sound of continuous torrential rain on the roof.
  12. Jeez! The lightning intensity has gone down dramatically. That's my chances over. Just some rain to water the garden. Oh well.
  13. Looks good. But, that rain in the S needs to intensify further for any thunder and lightning to start. I wouldn't mind anything late afternoon. But, not really tonight.
  14. There is less activity than there was in France, earlier. I don't know how I'm going to get this torrential rain tonight unless it convects out of nowhere.
  15. Hmmm, I'm not going to get my hopes up tonight. There is no activity heading this way and with no instability present over the English Channel, things are looking dull.
  16. You can see that thunderstorm cloud turning NW on the N flank of it. Fingers crossed.
  17. I hope not. I would love to see more action. But, I have 2 GCSE exams tomorrow and don't want to be kept awake with thunder and lightning all night. Any other night this week and next week after tonight is fine. But, not tonight. Maybe later tomorrow will see some more action.
  18. Does look pretty serious for here. There could be a hell of a lot of rain, flash flooding and massive thunderstorms tonight. Who knows?
