Wind is picking up quite a bit. My place is already shaking now but only a little

Thanks! I know, it's been a pretty tough time. Considering nothing bad has happend to us so far *touch wood* it should be fine just shaky as usual but I'll be paranoid regardless. I can't belive there has been 37! That is ridiculous. Some mean mean looking clouds have been around today Well if it rains you know why lol Greaaat! I'm glad I'm on here as I get way more detailed info from all of you than the general sources I go to. Oh yeah blue sky is back but I'm not sure for how long now. Still windy.

That's me not sleeping tomorrow night then. 50mph is bad enough. Not long ago had a massive dark cloud pass over with increasing wind and a little shower but it's blue sky again woohoo!

Walking to the gym and it's blue sky, breezy and hardly any clouds.. This big one got my attention though coming in from the sea!

I see the winds pick up and I always start panicking and get quite bad anxiety.. Dry mouth, shakes, nausea. Anyway! Sleeping for now isn't working but I'm aiming to before more rain hits

Ohhh okay. It hit so suddenly, scared the life out of me. You don't think there would still be any risk of tornados now do you even though the warning expired at 9pm? I'm paranoid :/

Started to rain

Just got extremely windy all of sudden! Not letting up either

No rain since around 8 or so.. No more thunder or lightening, only that one flash I mentioned and I heard a slight rumble about 5 mins later but not sure if it was the wind messing with me. A breeze every couple minutes or so but the wind has completely calmed since earlier. I think it must just be missing me.. Don't want it anyway though ha!

I just jumped at the lightening in Brean! Haven't heard any thunder yet.

I think we've been quite lucky as the north of the country has seemed to have had a really bad time today. Although the wind's bad it's nothing compared to the last few windy days we've had

Where I am it's very windy and noisy but no rain, thunder or anything considered exciting really. But the wind has definitely picked up in the past few hours. I thought we were meant to have a decent-ish night then tomorrow night the problems but no! Nervous about the TORRO forecast for potential tornados as well..

95.7?! The saturday storm was 97.8 and around that the whole day dropping to about 97.3 at the lowest I think for me. We're definitely in for it tomorrow.

Thanks for the welcome everyone. Things have calmed down completely where I am now but I'm not convinced. The wind can go from nothing to crazy in seconds as I'm 5 mins from the sea. I've noticed that 4-5am is the usual time the bad weather will pick up though. Saturday night was really scary so I'm hoping we won't get a repeat of that weather. Also thanks to the daily express and their scaremongering I'm not feeling to good about this weekends new "superstorm" heading our way.. Does anyone know what that storms pressure is supposed to be yet?
