  1. Yeah. Think we'll get a little top up from this. Snowing lightly in Brentry at the mo
  2. Yeah. I saw that too. Hopefully just an early snapshot for Sunday though.
  3. Here in Brentry, North Bristol, I can only describe it as a wintry mix of soft hail and blobs of wet snow. Temp dropped from 2.7 to 2.2. Blobs, however, becoming more frequent and larger by the minute. Now 2.0 and almost all snow, although the wettest snow I think I've ever seen yet still settling on cars
  4. Gert big blobs of snow now falling in North Bristol. 75m ASL. Unfortunately still bits of rain in the mix too. Temp. 1.8
  5. The 3 cm of snow from this morning has now all but gone, except for my wonderful snow sculpture (snowman), which I'm sure will still be admired by the kids for the next couple of days.
  6. It certainly was a cracker. Approx 4 cm of lying snow in next to no time. Still approx 2cm in the shaded areas, with another snow shower 30 mins ago to leave a dusting and keep the lying snow topped up. Temp now minus 0.8, so should still be a nice sight to wake up to.
  7. Just a quickie from yesterday. 4 snow showers in the morning, 2 of which gave temporary and brief dustings.
  8. Just back from pub. Another 1cm of snow to add to the 0.5cm that hasn't melted from the localised fall on Tuesday evening. Temp +0.1 at 18:00 when going out, Temp now +0.8 on arrival home. First signs of snow melt just starting to kick in. Not expecting anymore but you never know....
  9. Bit of a surprise, but fine grains, followed by about 10 minutes of proper flakes has left a covering of 0.5cm a few minutes ago here in North Bristol.
  10. I can confirm this is correct. Just taken kids to school, and had a great snow-ball fight!
  11. It was feeling very seasonal (spring-like) until we had a light snow shower in Bristol an hour ago, while playing cricket with the kids.
  12. Here in North Bristol, we had a 1 hour period of light snow from 4am to 5am. (Wouldn't normally be up at that time, but my son was ill). This 1 cm of snow was topped up by another period of light snow from 8am to 10am. No more than 2 cm of lying snow in total. Gradually thawing already in a temperature of 0.8 C.
