  5. Gorgeous afternoon - the Cnb clouds dissipated, the cumulus clouds thinned and broke into cirrus, and now what's left of the cirrus is melting - almost clear skies here, with bright sunshine.. Breezy West or Southwesterly at times, warm in the sunshine. A shade temperature of 11.2 deg C.

  11. Was a bright start with some sunny spells this morning. Clouds continuing to thin and break, allowing longer spells of warm sunshine through. Nice fluffy cumulus clouds floating around, with some cirrus too. Temperature @ 13.5 degrees with a light southwesterly.

  13. A fantastic start to the day here in south Wales, with almost clear blue skies. Some whispy cirrus floating around. Light winds, 9 degrees.
  14. I've spent the day in Bristol... Leaving Wales and going across the Severn Bridge at around mid-day, so the clouds began to thin and break, and out came the sunshine. Has been a gorgeous day in Bristol, and warm too. Funnily enough, coming back over the border into Wales, so the clouds gathered once more, with one or two light showers popping up on the journey home. Amazing what a difference the Severn Bridge can make! Some fab formations of mammatus clouds today as well
  15. A bright start to Bank Holiday Monday here in south Wales. A good deal of cloud, but it's thinning and breaking allowing some decent sunny spells through. Slight westerly, with the temperature @ 10. 1 degrees

  17. A bright morning, although the skies were laced with stratocumulus clouds. No breaking into cumulus clouds, allowing the sunshine out - looks like it'll be one very nice day again. Temperature @ 10.8 with little or no wind.
  18. Almost clear blue skies - just one or two small fair weather cumulus clouds rolling around in the sky. Bright and clear sunshine. Little or no wind. 10.6 degrees.
  19. Bright skies greeting the east at the moment - darker and cloudier to the west. Damp this morning, but the sun's just coming up... Currently 4.6 degrees, with a light W to NW'ly wind
  20. Cloud continuing the day-long process of slowly thinning and breaking. Odd glimpses of sunshine coming through from time-to-time. Feeling warm in little or no wind. 12.0 deg C.
  21. Woken up @ 5am this morning by a nasty and prolonged shower of torrential rain and hail... very gusty winds too.
