Hi Ronan. No video fc on their website
-
I'm slightly confused by the BBC weather fc. They have temps of 5-6c over NI for Wed-sat. I know temperatures can drop in the showers but if it's widely fc to reach 5-6 degrees then why the snow warning as it would melt in no time. Surely it's bound to be colder than that?
-
Barra Best didn't make much of the snow in that fc. He didn't even mention 5-10cm snow totals in the warning that has been issued. You can't beat Angie or Cecila lol

Stay out of the model thread this morning that's all I have to say lol

How much was your crystal ball and where can I find one? -
Lol Pom. Boards.ie is worse. Some people have said Winter is over since Xmas on there. Another this week said no Easterly or NE until March at least then posted this morning with excitement proclaiming hints of a NE for this weekend. It would put years on you. Anyway looks good this week and lets enjoy it.

Snow predictions for tonight guys. 2-3 inches possible for the North West I reckon

Cork airport just recorded a gust of 91mph. It's not even in Irelands red alert and that doesn't kick in until 9pm further up the coast. Begs the question how bad could it get or is it a typo lol

Given the current output from the GFS would I be correct in saying it doesn't bode to well for NI as it's too far west or am I wrong? Thanks. -
Any more info on that possible sting jet for NI as mentioned on previous page. Thx

BBC Ni weather this morning fc winds of 70-80mph for the north/north west
-
BBC weather just mentioned windy across Northern Ireland, N England/S Scotland on Thursday morning and that was it. Seems a bit casual imo. Mentioned winds of 75mph for sw uk
-
In the green area it can be raining or snowing. Netweather previously said it doesn't necessarily mean sleet.
-
58mph is a gentle breeze lol
-
Apparently ECMWF hi-res has sustained winds of 55-60knots along the Irish coast for Wednesday but I can't find that chart on this phone ha. Can anyone confirm for me thx

Would that suggest it will take more of a Northerly track than FC? -

You may be right. Matt hugo twitter-"Thank goodness it's moving through quickly as models not handled the rain across the S today all well. Far more extensive and widespread." -

Interesting but this time of the year is often stormy. Stopped clock right twice a day springs to mind. -
Change your settings to ignore IDO's posts and do your blood pressure a favour. His posts would be better suited for the Sahara half of the time

Is there any chance that tomorrows low could still push slightly South bringing NI more in line with the worst of it? -
