right now they seem to be concentrating maybe on the worst overnight effects of this for London/south - upgraded warnings may still be issued yet

Agree with the above on the Met current concentration. If it comes as a high chance of snow, purely based on the dense population in that area - would have a bigger impact.

I believe (probably hope) once they get a better handle closer to the time perhaps we will be lucky enough to get an upgrade and a warning appear in other areas further west to the current once.

gonna be a close call - Caerphilly and senghenydd's name could be on it along with say bargoed - blackwood way - but it might bend a ittle more this way - who knows - as long as it has the legs after the beacons lol

Bargoed way - I'll let you know if anything turns up - I doubt it!!

This cold on the weekend ,are we expecting any snow from it?? It's awfully quiet in here!

Thst's because there is not a lot currently on the cards for us. Not an awful lot of time to change left - but pressure is on the higher side so might squeeze any shower activity to a minimum.

It’s an occluded front that is going to move back northwards and intensify. Precip will kind of come from nowhere if that makes sense, will just start intensifying.

sorry Fujitascale, didn’t see you already posted that.

Hey copyright and all that :)

Yes ok  in fairness it does say getting worse around 6'ish for us and if anything the heavy snow looks progged for further into the early hours of tomorrow morning as well - can't see the farm in Gelligaer opposite  now either getting lots of sand at the moment with high winds - on another positive note its beer oclock and the outside bar while freezing the coke has just chilled to perfection the lager

It has said all  day that the heavy stuff starts in pontypridd at 5 so we will see if its right.

Looking at radar be longer than that.... if it goes far enough north be more like 7pm - I think it's struggling in it's northwards extent.

Same down the Road - it hasn't stopped but its been pretty fine stuff - nearly an hour in to the red zone warning and still small flakes - will they get bigger or is this it?

Got a sinking feeling Steve that this is it.... :(
