  1. We had a bit of wintry stuff last night at about 9pm but woke up to rain and 6c. Roads were empty which I'll take anytime.
  2. Does seem that way in reference to the sunshine doesnt it. Hoping the gloomy weather is over. Thanks for being part of our fabulous NHS and hope you have a great Christmas [ well as best as you can]
  3. Another lovely day of drizzle on the drive in. Quite mild though for the time of year. Weekend was the same but pretty much missed most of it after a reaction to my booster jab. Did manage to get the dogs out to a very murky Grafham Water though

  5. Very mild out there again. Cant help but think a cold shock is around the corner. As long as it is over the Christmas period , i'm OK with that.
  6. I remeber December 81 very well . My house was on a slight sloping road and it had been very, very cold. Being 13 at the time , we did what kids did, turned the bottom of the road into an ice slide by constantly pouring water on it. Thinking back , the neighbours must have thought we were right little ***** but that slide was there for about a week and we had a blast.
  7. Nice drive in this morning , clear skies and quite cold but better than the horrible misty rain rubbish. I need to get a weather station , where is best to look ?
  8. Bit of rain last night and then the skies cleared. Temperature must have plunged as it was hard to get the car door open this morning.
  9. Lets hope its a good sign of things to come. Cant remember the last time I've seen snow this early into the Winter but then again I live in a very , very flat place. Milton Keynes seems to be a bit luckier than my home.
