Well after early drizzle for the umpteenth day, the sun came out and out went the washing. Yesterday I had a mare with the broadband connected but doing virtually nothing. Having been though endless checking that it wasnt my end, it suddenly started working and i was able to send emails. Late last night i had to send another email and it wouldn't go again.... I ended up turning the computer off and going to bed. This morning, booted PC and everything is working... I think it was a BT fault although at the time, no problem was showing for this area.

Greetings all. Problems with the PC all day and now its decided it wants to communicate with the world after i swapped ports on my router. Anyway, suns out and its a lovely evening.

It actually drizzled yesterday. Enough to make the washing wetter than when it first went on the line. Today looks like a carbon copy too.

Very good find. Been so busy over last few weeks that ive not been able to keep my eyes open.

Its the storm surge that could be most damaging. Lots of Louisiana is low lying and has Levy's to offer some protection from flooding although in 2005, Katrina broke through and large parts were devastated.
