    A lovely snowy surprise this morning here in Barrow upon Soar, especially for my little boy who hasn’t seen snow before! Lot’s of surprises to come to I think! Here’s to the start of a long, cold and hopefully very snowy couple of months!

    Best snowfall I've seen since 2010. Unbelievable it's happening in spring! A good 4inches so far,a lovely thick blanket, hopefully wake up to more in the morning. I am one very happy coldie!!!

    Although here in Barrow upon Soar we've not had the 9ft drifts others have had, we've had daily snowfall for the past 5 days which has been an absolute pleasure to wake up to every day! I for one have loved this late winter easterly blast, it will live long in the memory

    Light snow on and off all day here with a couple of heavier bursts. Not amounted to much but hope this is just the beginning of a memorable spell of weather

    Coming down quite heavily here, even settling on the roads! I'll enjoy it whilst it lasts! 6th time I've seen snow falling this winter which is more than the last three put together so I have nothing to complain about really!

    Fantastic bonus snowfall here! A good 2 inches in a about 45 mins, wasn't expecting that! Just shows you it's sometimes best to just look out of the window than staring at endless weather forecasts! A great start to the winter

    Amazing conditions here in loughborough! Very heavy snow with a strong northerly wind but what's better than that was my 3 year old daughter's face when I opened the curtains! Time to build a snowman I think!
