And the theme is? -
There so BIAS on there that's why. Should rename it the England Mad thread. They want it IMBY all the time and if they get to see other county's getting it then it's fame over and winters finished.. Lmao its only the 21st of January, the winters I witnessed and was brutal winters didn't start until late January into February. I remember as I a kid in the early 80s we were playing outside and it started to rain and within half an hour it turned to sleet with big wet snowflakes my late father called me in as it was bed time. Went to bed and looked out of my bedroom window and the sleet turned to snow rapidly settling. Within an hour full easterly was howling and a full on blizzard had hit South East Wales... Bloody amazing that was.

So why post them if they will come to nothing. Stick to Fax I say. Best possibility ever instead of days ahead charts showing potential of Narnia snow potential but we all know they are like a wet fart in a milk bottle. Also thanks though for sharing I know your drift BS.?? -
Cold conditions are set to last through the weekend. During Saturday central and northern regions have sunny spells and wintry showers. In the south there is a risk of longer spells of rain, sleet or snow. Sunday brings sunny spells but wintry showers could become quite widespread. There is the chance of a more organised band pushing southeastwards.

Nice looking chart, still plenty of winter left so many surprises to pop up anytime, also same here had symptoms and had to isolate. Get well soon mate. -
Yeh.. Months old.more like. Think they know it all. Its a pity was done good posters in the and especially OLD MET MAN. He was my favourite and also @Carathian. Ain't seen his posts for a while and @SteveMurr.. He's been banned though for his outburst, I don't blame him though as Mod fave him a poke and he reacted.. This reminds me of Metcheck back in 2001... Really biased. Ana anyone remember Metmonkey.. Bit like this.

You knows it. Stay out of the Mad thread as all the pros have vanished and the Young ones are taking over who only seen about 7 inches of it in there prime time. Think they know it all. Yes Fxxx all. I shall be in there soon when I see where the fax charts are showing what I shall say, Bitter cold. Its coming. I tell you Computer modelling is over rated.. Been waiting for this cold spell and the last one since last year's....

Rain has arrived here in south east Wales and its persistent and quite heavy in nature. As it crosses over the Bristol Channel it will or should suck up moisture, I'm sure the front is moving around 58pmh so should be with you around 3.26am, enjoy the and please post some photos in here and also our regional Wales group. All the best and stay safe.. Nosda

Just popping in from Wales to tell you that temp here about 7pm was 0.3 c now risen to 3.6 c but not rain at present. So you all should be getting your slush about 5 am or even on higher ground, enjoy and also take some photos because it's going to turn to slushy rain as soon as the warm air digs in, such a shame.

Winter 2020/21 chat, ramps, moans and banter
A Frayed Knot replied to Paul's topic in Spring Weather Discussion
Forget about todays Iceland. Go back to the Bejam. I sniff a very cold winter with warm temps and Atlantic pushing into very very cold air. Proper winter coming up. The man from del monty says know This boy from Chepstow says yeh -
Yeh REFLUX... Stick to beeb forecasts or your own regional threads as its just now cast from here onwards. Next week it gets more exiting and the charts are all over the shop ann nothing is set in stone. I could say what I think is going to happen but I shall leave that in my regional group without all the doom and gloom and throwing toys out of the pram when you don't see it snowing in your area. Yeh we need to see it falling but we still got over a month and a half of winter to surprise us. Enjoy the up north. Lucky peeps ?️?️
