31.8c tops today and still 27.3c approaching 21.00!
I would expect it to nudge higher tomorrow given a likely higher minimum (this morning's was 17.5) and continued unbroken sunshine but quite frustrating to sense the 2nd week in a row with a very weak/inactive cold front - especially this time given 5 days of high heat!
Only 23.5C here
-
Failed to reach 31.C and maxed at 30.8C, now I'm down to 29.C
-
30.5C! Hotter than yesterday
-
30.C! Hottest day of the year so far

No clouds and bright sunshine all day it reached 26.5C and is now 21.5C, and a nice evening.

Lots of cirrus yesterday afternoon after it brightened up and I saw a halo for five minutes around the sun at about 16:00
-
Lots of light showers on and off but no heavy ones, pretty strong wind gusts.
-
20.C, bright sunshine and clouds are fading
-
18.C, sun shining slightly at the minute

Lovely convection to my east right now, it's now a high tower
-
17.C, looks like heavy showers are coming soon

I'm curious, do you guys prefer a thunderstorm in the daytime or when it's pitch black in the middle of the night? Personally I like watching them at night.
I like night storms for the lightning and daytime storms for seeing the cloud formations.

Went downtown but there was a deluge at 11:00 and little rivers running on the sides of the road, this went on for a while and then stopped and another lot of heavy rain has arrived, I think some of the drains are getting a bit full.

Couple more strikes showing up

A slightly hopeful thing is that it seem the cells at the bottom of the mess are getting more intense

Wavy dark cloud formations overhead

It's weird it was coming and then it just died
Amazing dawn colours though as there is a clear slit in front of the storm where it's orange and black
Seems to be striking occasionally in random places
