    Surprised how mild it was when i left my house at 6am this morning. Nothing but grey skies today.

    Essex/London divide it seems today. Not a cloud in the sky here in London. Spoke to the wife and lots of cloud cover back in Essex.

    Same, at 6am it said light showers and a moderate breeze. Left the house and it was more of a monsoon

    Rain, lots of it. Tipping it down since 8am. Very mild first thing.

    Noticed the first bit of condensation around the windows this morning so certainly colder of late. Room temperature is still around 21c so no need for heating just yet.

    After last nights torrential downpours and gusty winds things are a bit calmer here today. Blue skies, sunshine and and a moderate breeze. Certainly chillier of late.

    Certainly felt the chill this morning at 7am. Currently very breezy with a lot of cloud cover. Just waiting for the rain now.

    Couple of hours of wind and rain but looking brighter now. Still feeling mild even with the wind.

    Anybody else dislike the snow now they are that much older? Loved it as a kid and i do like to see it falling but then it's the aftermath depending on how much has fallen. School closures, travelling to work. The beast from the east in 2018 was not enjoyable.

    Well....the sun has just appeared here. Still a lot of cloud but better than nothing!

    Snowed overnight here. As i write this most of it has gone.

    A hard frost and clear blue skies would be lovely this Christmas but I fear it will be much like today. Dull damp and dreary.
