  1. I'm In Brentwood at the moment and can report heavy rain and occasional thunder
  2. A few flakes re appearing after a slight fall in temperature.Really is marginal stuff at the moment
  3. Have a look at the risk matrix though, high impact yes but probability much less so.
  4. Chucking it down here at the moment naff all thunder though unlike yesterday.
  5. Cool breeze, occasional showers and not much sun,if this is the start of the good old British summer it can go and do one.
  6. Significantly less humid here than yesterday was, stronger breeze too so unlikely for thunderstorms today purley from IMBY point of view though.
  7. Light shower just passed through here, clouds building up,humid again too.
  8. As fast as the storms form they seem to vanish again.
  9. I think the majority of us will have to wait until Tuesday for any storms. The low cloud is taking far too long to shift today for any surface heating to kick in.
  10. Considering the metoffice put back the time for storm development on there warning there ain't a lot happening so far . I'm not expecting anything in my neck of the woods but for everyone else disappointment could well be on the cards unless things buck up a bit.
  11. 1c To start the day,but it's clear and sunny for now anyway.
  12. A bit of distant thunder earlier but it's now clattering down with hailstones that are so heavy it is turning the ground white
  13. I am sure there are people that are reporting "snow" when really it is really soft hail which in itself is not unusual for the time of year.Temps this far South are too high for proper snow.
  14. I think that's it for today, hardly any sun either here and heavy rain for the last three hours.Disappointing,yes,unexpected,no.
  15. Not a very technical term but it's chucking down here at the moment with a temp of 11c.
