Absolutely insane out there wow. A good six inches on the ground at 7am with decent drifts in exposed places. Now an absolute snizzle storm. Raging winds. Fantastic.

What a joke this morning, 90 minutes to do Milnrow to littleborough.
Haha pitiful. Start work at 8 near asda in town. So headed down for the 7.15 bus. It came past the other direction and that's when I knew it'd be quicker to walk the 3plus miles. Got to smallbridge and it came 10 mins later. Was only 5 min late. Gridlock area was Boro and smithybridge. Was clear past hurstead

My local used to be the King bill, which you can walk too from starting way ?
Aye but it closed and was privately bought. There is talk of reopeing due to demand. Would be nice if it did as it's a nice walk

Good morning bud. What part of littleborough are you at?

Makes sense, i usually go that way if i’m coming over from Halifax Road onto Whitworth Road and remember the top end of Syke as having nothing much beyond it other than fields and moorland.
Yeah that's right. I was in the newish houses up red lane. So low down. Is nice in the moorland above. Similar to my new location

I’m surprised that Littleborough is higher than Syke.
