  1. I will be unable to make a guess of what the sunspot count will be, until approximately June or July. Before then I will have no idea.
  2. Spaceweather.com has not updated from yesterday and counted yesterday's sunspot to be 11 higher than SILSO which only recorded it as 7. Solarham.com has the number 2755 shown on the image of the solar disk but has not recorded it as it still has today's sunspot count as zero. Solar-Terrestrial Data 02 January 2020 1320 Sunspot Number: 0 Solar Flare Index: 72 It is all very confusing.
  3. Not much change in the snow cover but there has been a slight increase of sea ice.
  4. The temperature at 2:10pm in South Ockendon is 7.6°C according to my weather station and the Met Office has South Ockendon at 5°C.

  6. I was given a New Year's weather treat this morning at 7:30 am as my neighbouring gardens were covered in fog. Sadly it did not last long as by 11 am it had all gone. Happy New Year to all ! May the New Year bring to you warmth of love, and that we will get more seasonable weather in 2020. I wish tremendous joy and good health for you. Out with the old, in with the new!   8. A beautiful clear night sky at 6:36pm. According to local weather forecasts it is supposed to be cloudy. The temperature is 9.1 Celsius and humidity has lowered to 74%. The barometric pressure is 1025.3 as it bas been lowering since the late morning.
  9. It is a lovely sunny morning and the temperature at 10:47 has reached 6.9 Celsius. The humidity has risen to 805 and the barometric has slightly risen to 1026.9. There is a very light breeze.
  10. It is a strange morning weather wise, as there is frost on top of the cars and some of the roofs but nothing on the lawns, shrubs and trees. The temperature is 5.7 Celsius and humidity is at 75%. The barometric pressure had been rising but it is now falling again and it is down to 1026.7. The time is 08:23 am. There is a fine mist forming and so as my late Dad would call it froggy weather.

  15. It is the same over here in South Ockendon, such a let down after the beautiful foggy night.
  16. It is 10:45 pm and there is creeping fog begin to form. The cars are now starting to be covered with frost. It has been at least over a year since there has been fog at night time.

  19. There has been no sign of rain today. In fact throughout the morning and the early afternoon, there have been a combination of bright and sunny spells. Nothing like it had been forecasted for a deluge of rain. It is 1:07 pm and there are large breaks in between the cumulus clouds. It is quite breezy. The temperature is a balmy 11.°C and humidity is at 73%. The barometric pressure is steady at 1004.7%.
  20. A much better today, a mainly clear sky with plenty of winter sunshine. There was a cool breeze making it feeling cooler than it really was. The time is at 4:33pm. The temperature is 9.6°C and the humidity has lowered from 80% down to 68%. The barometric pressure has risen to 1008.8.
