Thats a late one and on changeover day as well. Lets hope the weather gods are kind to us and not a risk in Nebraska on the first official chase day of Tour 3 or it could mean a 6 hour drive North straight from landing. Thats why we try to get guests in the day before to acclimatise or during the afternoon on changeover day.
What time is your flight back on the 10th June as again we urge people to make sure the flight is in the late afternoon or early evening once again for ease of chasing on the last day.
Regards
Paul
My flight leaves at 4 in the afternoon on the 10th which is a bit better, as for the late arrival, I’ll just have to get through it, if that means a six hour drive north as soon as I land, bring it on

So I’ll be leaving Edinburgh at 11:25 on the 30th of May to Get to New York JFK at 13:56 (local time obviously) then get another flight at 18:20 to Dallas/Fort Worth by 21:18, I hope that’s ok

Met degree? Dynamics and vector calculus are deeply unhappy memories of mine.
See you on Tour 3
Yeah I’m studying geophysics and meteorology at Edinburgh uni, lots of maths and physics though and I didn’t get to do any meteorology courses until the start of second year which kind of sucked.

Oh my god, I’ve been wanting to do this for years, can’t believe it’s finally happening.... just got to get through the next semester at uni. Hopefully dynamics and vector calculus doesn’t cause too many problems for me.

I saw a picture of them on Facebook, in the Scotland from the Roadside group.
Cool, made my day when I saw them, been looking for them for a couple of years now.

Anybody see the Nacreous clouds on Saturday, didn’t get a picture because I was working, just saw them out the window

I’ll be content with distant flashes of lightning tonight, just something to tide me over till next year.

I was forecast thunderstorms for today all week and the closest storm was over a hundred miles away. Just shows to take any forecast with a pinch of salt and don’t assume anything until there’s a god damn storm over you.

Wow I’m so jealous right now. That’s a whole lot of lightning.

Thanks for an entertaining five minutes of reading Supacell.

I like how the term ''Kent Clipper'' has become a meme in this forum, its rather amusing. Speaking of which, hopefully tomorrow's event won't turn out to be one, we really need some decent storms.

Just realized that Hamburg storm formed over us and then headed over the North Sea to Denmark and Germany. Not like we needed that storm or anything.... come back please

yep, it's a sad day when Scotland gets most of the action. Good thing I live there hahaha. Sorry for gloating, I just know it will be a while before we get anything significant again.

Well I'm pretty satisfied with that storm I just had. Here's a video of it if you can be bothered watching for 10 minutes. Sorry about the voices
honestly don't know if it will work or not

Probably a good thing this is the longest day of the year, maximize that surface heating time

Sup, I’m back for another summer of disappointment and the odd rumble of thunder. Seriously though this year better give me something decent ?. Hell of a storm over the Netherlands though
