That cell around NW France looks interesting, if it doesn't die out, the South Coast will see something today I reckon
Edit: If it carries on its current trajectory, it should make landfall around the Weymouth area
Today has been a miserable mix of rain, drizzle and overcast skies. Sun tried to break through around 15:30 but failed miserably. Hasn't been out properly since Sunday, certainly doesn't feel like August
Very overcast at the moment, but the band of rain is edging ever closer and will be here in the next couple of hours, I'd say. Radar shows it as around Central London area
Current temperature is 20C
I was in London most of today, but still a reasonably good day. Quite a bit of cloud, but plenty of sun at the same time, think the temperature peaked at 23/24C
I'm back home now, and at 20:04, the temperature is 18C
Lookine extremely dark to the NW and radar shows very heavy rain around Brentwood way which must be coming from this cloud. Nothing electrical, but wouldn't be too surprised if there was to be...
Woken up to a pretty cloudy start, but the sun is out. Interestingly, there appears to be what looks a bit like a shelf/roll cloud of some sort that has formed just to my West. There is no rain or storms so I'm wondering if what I'm seeing is actually odd shaped Cumulus
Temperature: 18.3C
Humidity: 74%
Edit: Yes, it was cumulus, since it's now joined to the rest that's about
