  1. That cell around NW France looks interesting, if it doesn't die out, the South Coast will see something today I reckon Edit: If it carries on its current trajectory, it should make landfall around the Weymouth area
  2. Not quite sure what to make of this. Think we'll have to wait and see...
  3. I think we might see something here Wednesday night/Thursday, but I think the main core will be a bit further West
  4. No, what I meant was that the area of low pressure was going to miss where I live to the South.
  5. If it's affecting the SW and then along the South Coast towards Kent then it's to the South of me
  6. Most if not all cloud from earlier has now gone, making wall to wall sunshine, a nice cool breeze is keeping it at 23C
  7. Looking like all this low pressure will miss me to the South
  8. What are the chances of seeing anything here in Essex over the next few days?
  9. Similar to yesterday, sun out with cloud around 18.2C
  10. A sunny start but with quite a bit of white cumulus around. Small risk of heavy/thundery shower later. We'll see what happens Temperature: 20C
  11. Reasonably cloudy again this morning, but the sun is trying to break through. Windier than it has been too. Temp is 20C
  12. Today has been a miserable mix of rain, drizzle and overcast skies. Sun tried to break through around 15:30 but failed miserably. Hasn't been out properly since Sunday, certainly doesn't feel like August
  13. Raining, has been for a while, will be for a while. Nothing else can be said
  14. Very front of the band of rain just reaching Basildon. I reckon it will be raining here within the hour
  15. Very overcast at the moment, but the band of rain is edging ever closer and will be here in the next couple of hours, I'd say. Radar shows it as around Central London area Current temperature is 20C
  16. I was in London most of today, but still a reasonably good day. Quite a bit of cloud, but plenty of sun at the same time, think the temperature peaked at 23/24C I'm back home now, and at 20:04, the temperature is 18C
  17. Lookine extremely dark to the NW and radar shows very heavy rain around Brentwood way which must be coming from this cloud. Nothing electrical, but wouldn't be too surprised if there was to be...
  18. Indeed, and lightning has also been picked up it would seem
  19. Woken up to a pretty cloudy start, but the sun is out. Interestingly, there appears to be what looks a bit like a shelf/roll cloud of some sort that has formed just to my West. There is no rain or storms so I'm wondering if what I'm seeing is actually odd shaped Cumulus Temperature: 18.3C Humidity: 74% Edit: Yes, it was cumulus, since it's now joined to the rest that's about
  20. The one that just passed over here was extremely heavy. If it hits you and you are outside, prepare to get soaked!
  21. Yes, it was heading my way. That is the heaviest rain we've had for quite a few weeks
