Wind picked up quite a bit in the last hour, 25-35mph with a 38mph gust. Temp at 2.1C

Light sleet here in Edinburgh (253ft ASL) at 2100. Temp has jumped from 0.7C to 2.6C though in about 15 min. Radio reports of snow along the M Eight corridor. Some visible, but not lying yet, on the traffic cams here

Light snow from about 2230Z here. Very little is sticking, still too warm @2.5C.

Just started snowing again this minute. Fairly heavy with absolutely no wind. Temp is down to 1.5C and pressure to 987hPa. Looking at the UKMO weather radar these showers should be quite frequent for the next few hours.

Hi Shuggee. I've just been outside, all but melted where I am but Arthurs Seat has a good covering. Is going to be a lovely sight tomorrow. Get your camera ready!

Another heavy snow shower @ 2015Z. What was a good covering on the ground is now being washed away by rain/sleet

My first snow of this winter!! Quite heavy now in Edinburgh (Holyrood) @ 2000Z Also sleet @ 1515Z and wet snow @1700 out at the Gyle. None of it is lying yet but if the temps go down much the wet ground is going to be very icy (dangerous) tomorrow morning

Dull and dreary day here in Edinburgh. Light frost this morning with cloud cover for most of the day. Odd spot of drizzle. The Pentlands have a light dusting of snow that has remained through the day. Conditions @ 2200 Overcast Temp : 7.5C Humidity : 82% Pressure : 1013 hPa - falling
