  12. I'm so looking forward to this, last big snow I had was in Kent in 1987 head height drifts, (I'm 5 foot), but I made it to the pub. we only have a pub in Ludford, no shop, so I can see lots of deep trenches from all directions heading there.
  13. yep I was under that, nice little snow shower, tiles are white ground covered but can hear the drip drip of the melt.
  14. My husband is the same,I've been trying to warn him all he says is "yes dear" , nods , but with a glazed look in his eyes as it is weather related. Well I've got my stock of favourite goodies in, 5 mile walk to nearest town, I will savour every bite. mawhahahah.
  15. The model discussion has gone nuts and most are in agreement (almost unheard of!), I'm off to do a bit of a stock up for next week onwards as a real chance we could be snowed in or our village cut off (no shop). I'm not worried it will be very exciting, log burner at ready. it will probably come to nothing as per usual .
  16. Had a lovely dusting this morning in Ludford, and about 5 flakes in Louth this afternoon, I have my fingers crossed for tomorrow evening. I'd love to get snowed in but very unlikely.
  17. we have a good covering up here on the Wolds, main road covered too.
  18. Little flurries before the main event, the ground is still frosty. Am I the only one on the Lincolnshire Wolds, (It is sparsely populated) ? Am I indeed on the right forum?
  19. would be nice, in the orange and on high ground, will post pics if it is good,
  20. Light dusting here up on the Lincolnshire Wolds, the snow radar look like a chunk heading our way. I'd love to be snowed in we have a full larder, wine and a squirrel log burner that perks coffee up nicely.
