Absolutely bang on the money! All types of weather interest me from cold and snow to long hot summers but apparently it’s not the done thing by some on here to be enthusiastic about snow it’s all about peoples narratives apparently and how dare they show their preferences for cold They disappear during any cold spells or post in mod thread then run over here to post the opposite to their little gang Its just so incredibly sad for grown adults to spend all their time trying to make others look daft or feel like they shouldn’t express opinions Whatever floats their boats but what a sad lonely life they must lead

Very interesting Lee, watching BBC forecast has it clearing most of us mid morning but when you look at the radar and your post you have to wonder if it clears as quick as they are saying

Yer just saw that, much improved from lunchtime forecast but was early hours job more likely my location There goes my sleep tonight

2/3 years ago we had a couple of days similar where the snow stalled and pivoted giving us 6/7 hours of very decent snowfall just cones down to a little luck on these occasions A fair few will miss out but many could still get a very nice surprise (on top of what some have now) One more lamppost all nighter for me So not giving up, yet!!

Light snow flurries here in Tadcaster which hopefully bodes well for later In recent years we’ve caught some good streamers but not sure we are in a prime location today going off forecasts fingers crossed! Good luck to all

Exactly this!! Why do so many people come on here with a ‘shove it down your throats’ attitude and a ‘I told you so’ post We are all weather enthusiasts be it cold/mild/stormy etc etc so why the constant one up man ship attitudes, it really is sad

It was a live broadcast but you could well be right using older data still

BBC1 breakfast forecast this morning seemed quite adamant that temperatures would rise on Sunday in the west only made a point of saying it so could be a few surprises for majority of our region weekend and into mid next week. Also showed most of the country back in cold air Monday anyway, beyond that looking unclear as usual but we will see what turns up Sunday-Wednesday next week!

Could well be but as a mere novice I’m none the wiser lol the likes of Scott and Kasim know their stuff amongst others of course I do know that combined with other snow reports last couple of days we are at least in with a shout for a few surprises between now and Sunday
