Thought I'd share my forecast for today.. snowfall across parts of northern and Central Scotland continues today with accumulations mostly on hills with only slushy deposits at low levels the central belt should have mainly rain and sleet, a heavy band of rain pushes into northern England and southern Scotland this morning which will turn to snow for southern Scotland and perhaps northern England this evening before clearing away. Elsewhere across England and Wales sunshine but also a rash of very heavy showers around which will be very widespread and giving local hail and thunder in some places also showers will tend to merge to give longer periods of heavy rain particularly for Western england and the midlands some places could see as much as 10 to 20mm by the end of the day although some places will recieve less than this. Temps of 11 to 14c for southern parts but elsewhere 8 to 10 more typically and for scotland only 4 to 7 a best lower on hills. Hope this proves accurate but this is for fun
