Maybe, it's not much of a thaw here cabin fever kicking in ! Tesco is closing early at 4pm so staff can get home , snow forecast all day by met office and it will get cold again in an hour or so , watch this space ?!

Snowing most of the day in Merthyr , I was going to go and clear the drive and dig the car out but I'd be losing the battle ?, it's heavy too !

March I still class as winter , could have another few more weeks of cold weather yet !

Everything covered here now in Merthyr , showers getting heavier ! I'm not sure what dept it will be yet we shall see ?

Well school is now closed , trip was abandoned due to frozen and burst pipes at the treatment plant ! Water my go off Welsh water hoping to fix it soon !

Who knows what will happen ? They forecast rain it turns to snow ! It's very cold now with a biting wind here let's just see what happens it's always swings and roundabouts ?.

All weather forecasts are still on board , it's just sit tight and see , I'm expecting more warnings, warnings from the school and my son's rugby training off for the foreseeable !

No we don't exist in there ?, I give up I just hoover now , I find it highly amusing to be honest hence 'the mad thread' ! And they wonder why us Welsh folk find them arrogant and cocky across the bridge ?!

I'm really enjoying this calm before the storm so to speak , very good weather for drying out fire wood ! I've been out splitting wood the last few days for the burner , the already split wood has dried lots ! Now the haul the seasoned wood into the conservatory ready for this week .

Our school sent weather warnings out in December a few days before it happened and closed for two days as it was dangerous ! Obviously here in Merthyr it's a little higher up than carephilly but still I can see school having to close if this comes ?

The kids are back in school Monday after half term so I can see the school sending warnings out definitely !
