Southeast and East Anglia weather discussion
Will Whittaker replied to Blessed Weather's topic in Regional
Lighting up constantly North Norfolk. Gonna have to log off and unplug. Still feels like 30c. I swear thermometer here in the sun was reading 43c .2pm. -
Cold enough for me. OK no snarw but a beast from the east is a twice in a lifetime thing. Glad i got to tell my kids I told you so. Warmth would be better. If you pay the heating bills, sort of sucks just freezing fog.

Batten down the hatches. Nasty. Parts of my county are likely to crumble into the sea. Hopefully not my part. -

Norfolk seems to have been fogbound for a week or two. And looks to be for the coming week. Very depressing. -
Sounds rough. I help out on the sheep show. Got a mate breeding Norfolk Horns. They are pretty Hardy and used to wet soil, ground is so sodden at the moment horrible for sheep. Like you say this wind and cold is not helping at all. ATB and hope things go to plan for lambing. Hoping for spring but this easterly flow looks locked in.

Lots of drifting on the back roads now the wind has picked up. Nice photo. good to family having fun.

Yes the common road from Staithe is blocked. Not sure about Docking to Brancaster road.
-
North Sea has switched on I reckon. massive change the last 4 hrs. feeling Beasterly here.
-
Must be a wind up being grouped as we are North London and rural East Anglia. Easterly do effect coastal communities Don,t know why Netweather done this. .

Yes sorry to here some folk are not getting this, I have been waiting 35 years to take my sons where I used to sledge. I always told them of my times back then. Today 50 year old hammering down the snow like a kid. Bucket list stuff. There is a lot of snow moving inland . I hope you get it hard like here.
-
we have had snowfall for a couple of hours now constant. still hammering down. I hope you get it. I really do its magical.
-
Yep lights were flickering in the pub. Real nice to experience this again. I was very negative yesterday. Blown away today. Brancaster is the place to be tonight. it is still chucking it down. .

Does seem like convection has started. Before now was just 2 min snowfall every hour for last 48 hours. That blizzard was awesome. good hour long.

Maybe 4 or 5 inches to be honest. Not bad. i confirm a Beasterly here after that. I have seen worse but so far. exciting.
