Almost looks like it’s going down the coastline
-
I think my location (Crook/Bishop) is best off a NE’ly. It has to be just the right angle to get the that location otherwise it just ends up coming across newcastle and kisses completely.
-
How much snow we likely to get in co. Durham area then?
-
Bit of a disappointment. Last week and the week before were worse than the little bit of wind we had tonight.
-
What's the realistic expectation for us then?
A bit of a breeze and some rain/sleet? -
Anyone know what wind speeds we getting at minute?
-
Wonder if they’ll reach far enough inland to get to crook
-
-
What’s chances of that low giving us the goods?
-
Whats happening with the band of showers off the coast of Aberdeen? Seem to be tracking South.
-
Looks like need it to drop about 15-20miles south for Crook to be in the firing line of tonights showers.
-
Anyone know whats in store the next few days or so then?
-
-
Tracked a lot lower than I thought. Id have put it just above cramlington. Hopefully it trends southwards as the night goes on
-
Top of newcastle looks to be going to get a decent streamer come in

In what way mate?
The convection line. Or is it just a case of tabbing back through the radar and watching where the showers are spilling into?

They are defo headed south. Its more the convection line you need to watch. So those showers are streaming in and the streamer line is moving south so will or should generate fresh showers for the NE later.
I'm waiting with baited breath again...
How you view them?

Are those beefy showers on the scottish borders heading our way?
-

The snow in the North of Scotland has turned nice and heavy now according to the radar
-
Most snow on the radar and its a utter flop! Seen harsher frosts!

Streamers seem to setting up all over the NE now.
Except for crook/bishop!

County Durham snow shield is set up too it seems!
-
Looks a lot more organised snow coming in on the border now?

Well the first chance seems like a major flop.
