Good bit of kit Dazza. Pain in the butt working weather display with it at first but the supplied software is great. Not a big fan of being dropped though.. :o
Cheers Potty, Ouch on the dropping though :o

Well I took the plunge as well and just purchased a LaCrosse WS3600 (Couldn't afford a Davis Vantage Pro 2 like OON, as I am not rich enough yet). As soon as we get the house finalised I hope to be able to provide prime data readouts from Stewartstown.

A misty start to the day (which was actually quite nice as I do love the Mist & Fog), with a current temp of 13°C.

Yep.. Generally closer to ground level though. Those sorts of lights tend only to be a few hundred feet up tops. Colours also tend to be blue/purple, though red has been reported. I think earth lights can be ruled out in this case.
Military wind ups may be another issue. We don't know what gear is up in space. We do know that there is a good chance that high power lasers made it into space. Lasers are great for making holograms.
During the late 70's and early 80's, there were major sightings of weird flying objects. Triangular lights and stuff.. We now know that this was the stealth project for most reports. The experiments thrived on the back of the ufo reports and the government denial and especially the lack of radar data.. Zero proof...
During the 90's BT developed a multicolour laser and we were all going to be connected by colour when we made a phone call. Take your phone to a hotel and plug in and made no difference where you were you'd be reached on your colour.
Now if you mix the 2 ideas together, from space, the atmosphere becomes one fantastic projection screen..
Did a microwave version of the laser make it into space? Probably.. This was one of Regans main aims and it was tested on the ground with stunning results. The next step was a space trial. Shortly after the ground tests, in the UK, we started to receive messages in the fields.. This was the late 80's and the messages were there for all to see in the Today newspaper. There was evidence of microwaves being involved in most of the fancy artwork in the fields.. I can't remember who the weatherman was at the time but I remember that he did the translation...... "double your wells" or something..
Can you imagine what people in Iraq would think if they saw that same light show that a fair few people saw over the weekend?
The military rule is.. Control the skies..........
That was an interesting read, thanks for that Potty.

Neck and neck this month.
With an entry like FILSKI's no-one else really looks like there in with a chance as it's such a super shot (except for the old man who took the photo of the Squirrel of course, but then again, his votes are fixed).

Cue the whinging about the term 'mini tornado'
Oh bugger *crosses arms in disappointment*

A dry day today, a pleasant change from the storms we have had recently.
Currently cloudy 19°C and dry despite Thunderstorms being forecast (lets hope we have som tonight though ).
-
Oh, this is bad, really bad. I haven't seen anything like this for years. Torrential Rain accompanied by Thunder Storms, with no sign of it letting up! with a little on the side.
-
It sure is a great one dee.
A cracking thud of thunder just there (a few screams from shoppers ). Still chucking it down, and I'm stuck in the office with no windows
-
How bizzare is that!
-
A lovely sunny start to the day, a bit of a stiff breeze but pleasant all the same.
Currently partially cloudy with a temperature of 11°C
-
A dryish day, couple of spots of drizzle every now and again.
Currently a chilly 10 Degrees and overcast.
-
Great footage Dee, some numbnut left the kitchen door open at work and we had a bit of a flood in the kitchen owing to those storms as shown on Newsline. I hate getting wet feet when making a brew

Great footage Supacell

Well after a few days of heavy and torrential downpours it would appear that things have finally subsided for us in NI. It's looking good for a drier weekend at last!

Err, can someone please explain to me what's going on, OON.
