Perhaps just a convergence zone storm but its persistence is interesting. Must have dumped a fair amount of convective snow inland

Supercell near the lake district causing continuous snowfall. Decent amount of lighting off it too - anyone got pics? (socials on radar dont seem to working anymore) Looks like only the southern half of the lakes are affected currently, but the metoffice have issued an amber warning for the whole area.

Met office has it as a short wave, most models showing something. im just inside the 528 lol. fingers crossed ..

We're looking for home growns these eve, doesnt matter much what happens in the channel. Looks like the cold front is initiating some showers in the south currently, but not progressing quickly. Things look better later as the pressure falls and position of the jet looks more favourable for divergence

Humber storm becoming a supercell

Looks like the forecast has changed - most active storms aren't even in the MetOffice warning area. Arome has renewed CAPE developing in the south/SW from 2pm onwards today, radar looking right for it too. Reckon we could see new storms around the M4 this evening
