Heavy hail shower currently, can't remember the last time we had a hail shower here, been a fair while

Just had heavy rain and strong gusts here this morning

Heavy rain atm but shame its nothing thundery

For this time of year that storm has turned out pretty nicely

Watch this turn out to be a night show for the North Sea, I'm betting on it lol

Wade If it pushes up to Lincolnshire which is usually a hot spot then it could be perfect timing as I finish work at 4pm

Forecast suggesting something thundery later but I suspect most likely heavy showers

About 40 minutes ago there was clear skies with stars showing as well, didn't expect this but nothing thundery

The rain is falling crazily heavy here atm, not had it this heavy in ages

I still remember that time around May that hit Cornwall a few years ago, cant remember when, but was watching it on the radar and it was at 300 strikes a minute. I think it was one of those storms that didnt even pick up on models and caught a few by surprise. Not sure if anyone else remembers the year it was. Think it was about 2017

Looks like South West about to get slammed with heavy rain, this year feels like its been more thundery already and were not even at Summer yet

Not seen any lightning or heard thunder for about 10 minutes now so that could be it. A nice little start for the season though. Confident that this Summer will be a good one
