  1. How can you trust it’s going to rain at 8:30am as after all it’s a computer output that changes by the day and hour ??
  2. Can’t see clearly, and I don’t really think much of this model, but also another one showing an NE’ly then easterly to a SE’ly next week.
  3. Lovely icon, easterly setting up mid week and full blow by the weekend, but to me this seems like it will just be cold and dry, no snow at all as mentioned above, beat me to it.
  4. Anyone getting snow from the PPN round our region ? Dew points and other parameters are slightly less marginal than earlier, am I correct?
  5. LOL, I’m 17 BSL, In canvey, so it has to be perfect for settling snow in canvey ?
  6. Depends how far the high pressure moves north if any, if we get it moving north, an easterly, could still well just be warm SWly with a touch of early spring.
  7. Snow showers after dark until around 3am pushing up from the south coast, one to watch through the day, just picked up on it.
  8. Thought that would be the answer as countrywide they are hard to catch
  9. Im gonna have a go at this- TONIGHT- clear skies, with the odd snow flurry, not amounting to much. Overnight frost come morning, with some rural places easily reaching -2/-3. TOMMOROW- starting off with a few clouds and some nice sunshine, cloud will thicken come afternoon, which could bring a few wintry showers by the evening, especially for south Coast and Kent. Showers dying out to leave a cold night for some with some frost in places. TUESDAY- Starting off cloudy but wintry showers moving in in the late am, before a band of rain, and slightly warmer temperatures affects us by 2pm, this looking likely to turn increasingly to sleet or snow as it leaves the country and he cold uppers flow back over the region. let me know how I done.
  10. Think some people in this group get confused, some people interpret something completely different to how to writer ment it
  11. Has it upset you that much ? think you have jinxed it sweet nothing here. Just freezing
  12. It’s not just the crowds, and the huge amount of people that put me of London, it’s the weather too, they usually pep up from here as it hits the moist estuary air edit*- already pepped up as it leaves the M25 boundary, how I love rural living
  13. It could possibly materialise, just looks like the early hours until about 3am but look good.
  14. Nothing to do with tonight, but slight chance of snow showers tommorow evening aswell, coming from a more w’ly direction.
  15. Showers of hail/rain/sleet/snow could continue way into tonight according to some models, maybe a covering for parts of Essex and north London by dawn. To me it looks like a Cheshire gap streamer as there has been a lot more showers than modelled/forecast. Just a possibility.
  16. The sky is really black in canvey look like we are going to get covered in hail in a minute !
  17. Heavy graupel shower here 15 minutes ago- Canvey Island for the mobile users, models suggest heavy snow showers until 1 hour after dark, let’s keeep watching !
  18. Anyway eyes to tommorow ayy? Looks as if the showers will be most likely here from around mid afternoon- late evening, attached arome, shoes then all as either sleet or snow, with -8 uppers should be snow.g
  19. I’m not trolling I genuinely think it might come off this evening but what do I know
  20. The Met office mid morning forecast is onboard, however he hesitated by saying snow, “ after this …… wintry weather, moves of a harsh frost forming where daytime water was an issue” almost as as if he didn’t want to say snow so people don’t get excited, but as people have said before things like this bring suprises??
  21. Sleety shower in Harlow. Met office new forecast video says otherwise mate, take a watch, the band of snow up north is sinking SE through this evening givin snowfall to east anglia and Far SE take a watch mate. https://www.metoffice.gov.uk/mobile/videotapes
