Worth noting that Tony Gilbert over on UKWW is, in his words, 'taking a step back' as the models are far from resolving the thundery activity from Sunday with current outlooks by agencies not in line.
It'll be interesting to see how things update over the next 24 hours.
yes i also read that.just a waiting game now.

Here's my take.
Black circle - Most likely to see scattered storms during Sunday afternoon. Little risk if any elsewhere
Sunday evening/night/into the early hours of Monday, the rest of the risk areas come into effect, storms moving in from the SW north-eastwards into Wales, Western Midlands, NW England and later NE England
Was meant to be going to a concert sunday night, willing to cancel if storms look promising.coventry/rugby area

I've just read PJB analyst on ukww, things could get interesting sunday.here's hoping

Nope and Miguel was a feline cat compared to this. The tree I drove past at Clifton up Dunsmore looked as if the owner had a lucky escape

Quiet right my friend. There's got to be a repeat of the portsmouth 1874 EF4 tornado at some point (probably wrong on the date). You can have all the CAPE in the world but with no trigger it's wasted. Hoping for a trigger tomorrow. Mind you I saw a line of small towers of conviction to my south today which I didn't expect.

Maybe they have some top tips to add?
Von here, invading this feed, suggestions are:
Warm food, fuel the body before bed, some light exercise, even if iit is making up the bed & sorting kit ready for morning after washing up.
Layers, and then some, not cotton, a hat and gloves, even a sunny day might bring in a chilly evening.
Base layer, the ground will not keep you warm, ensure you've a decent sleeping mat, the floor side of your sleeping bag will be crushed with your weight not keeping the warmth nor putting your mouth into the bag as the breath moisture will make you colder throughout the night.
Hope this might be useful to anyone.

I'm Afraid storm bronagh had caused issues here.got awoken just before midnight to find emergency services outside..The misses went to investigate in the pouring rain and howling wind to find that a tree had fell on to one of the narrrow boats here and the roof caved in.
After doing some research.it was not the roof that caved it but the narrow boat had submerged one end into the water with occupants trapped inside.full story here https://www.rugbyadvertiser.co.uk/news/fallen-tree-capsizes-canal-boats-in-clifton-upon-dunsmore-and-traps-people-inside-1-8642591

Nice little storm Rugby way
i live in rugby and got a text from the lovely lady saying she got thunder as i was at work.i was a at work at the royal mail site Royal Mail Distribution Facility at Danes Way, Daventry International Freight Terminal, Northamptonshire.19:35 I had text her and said i not surprised as it chucking it down here by 19:45 the sound of the raid on the metal/perspex roof waas incredible it was like listening to white noise at full volume.people where looking at each other laughing, myself included as you couldn't hear yourself speak due to the intensity of the the rain.by that time it was thunder and lightning every couple of mins or so with what seem to increase in frequency.people out on the ramp filming the rain.20:00 the rain had stopped.soy i decided to go to the carpark for a vape and oh wow was i in for a treat. The rain wall had passed and what seem to be the battery of the storm was giving a wonderful display of vivid white lightning straight in front of me.Just to the right the clearly defined CB.beautiful cloud to cloud jagged bolts zig zagging across with the sun right behind me as the cloud clearing the sun. That was probably the most photogenic storm i've seen in daylight hours.I was in awe of such wonderful display of lightning and cloud definition but sadded couldn't get any pictures of such beauty. I Wasn't expecting Anything as nothing forecast but what a pleasant surprise.

Looking increasingly promising for those ahead of the band of heavy rain and frequent lightning across Gloucester and Wiltshire. Lightning activity should be enhanced within the next few hours through the process of nocturnal cooling, which in effect steepens lapse rates.
Im in rugby and been keeping an eye on that lot

been raining light to moderate back to light for around last 10 mins in rugby
