    Looks like humidity is increasing and light getting less powerful so hopefully anything now will settle and not evaporate.

    Had a good amount of snow but now its all gone, as dry as a bone which has annoyed me a little but not too much as i hope it will aid tonight's snow.

    people have to realize that Monday we are where not really expecting snow and the main event is Monday evening,overnight Tuesday and Wednesday.

    All this evaporating snow might enhance the snow later on as it puts more moisture into the atmosphere, well I hope at-least.

    My surfaces are not wet they just go dry within minutes the air is far to dry for the snow to lay.

    Just read it up, its because of sublimation where the strong sun partnered with low humidity turn the snow straight to a gas and not into liquid.

    Its a shame as it just melts as it hits the ground.

    Just had the most insane snow I have ever seen here, total whiteout conditions like out the states, just had 3cm of snow in 5 mins omg.

    Temps are below freezing so surprised to see the snow melting like this.

    This was earlier, lots of places in Essex already got a few cms and this is meant to be the prelude .

    Flurries starting to pop up more widely now and showers becoming more heavy in the north, promising.

    Lots of reports of very light snow all along the east coast but nothing on radar, just goes to show how conductive the north sea is.

    Cant see anything on radar so cant give you the award of first snow falling lol.

    Also is it true that powder snow produces more depths than our traditional wet snow or is that a myth?
