    Switched from the lounge gas fireplace to central heating yesterday morning, as the house was 14.7c when I woke up

    Had the worst nights sleep here in quite a while, finally dozed off at around 2:30am, only to wake up again at 5:30

    Rainfall has fizzled out now, up to 31.2mm Warming up now too! 14.6c, may need to get the t-shirts back out by the end of the week!

    Nice day here today in Birmingham, back home now with 7.6mm of rain falling since midnight, most of that fell this morning, as it woke me up in Pitsea

    House is now 17.4c, 11.6c outside!

    Getting nippy here after yesterdays cold night and todays low maxima of 14.6. Currently 17.6c here, I'm in my fleece. Shouldn't of left the side door open for the dogs. Solid brick house here without cavity or insulation, so it looses heat easily. Heating isn't going on until we're in the mid 16c range Currently 12.0c outside

    13.9c here currently. According to netweathers 16 day forecast, there are no imminent 'cold' minima expected like last nights, so I won't need the heating on 17.8c indoors, a little cool but I am only in a t-shirt. Below 16c and the fleece will come on, anything under that and the heating will be turned on

    Not much in the rain here today at all, none registered on the weather station, although there was some drizzle earlier! Just checked the radar, looks like that heavy band of rain is just skirting to the south west of me

    Max here of 20.1c, 1:14pm See three unmarked cars racing down the A127 earlier today, all in the space of about 15 minutes, not sure what was going on

    Back from Scotland to find a reading of 5.1c on my staton from this morning..... Odd Local stations reported 8.5c overnight, which seems more accurate. Will have to keep an eye on this!
