  5. Got a few hours left of it yet may have 1cm if slush but the time it’s gone
  6. Just got in the lorry for a call out I hat road, Brentwood, come up warley hill, and snow is covered everywhere from yesterday everything snowy no thaw hear and snowing heavy here with back roads becoming slightly covered again and also on previous laying snow, think were in for a surprise this after noon also -0.5c now also
  7. Sorry for so many post this morning guys lol, currently watching the talk n turn to sleet- snow to rain - snow to rain- to sleet - gales - rain - snow, and so on deffo colder though now the wind has hit
  8. Updated at 8:04, still suggests snow Later in the day, will be nice to watch though.
  9. Was snowing here in Brentwood, but mow back to rain, I hope the BBC and met office, forecast is correct, if the temp is 0c as shown there is the possibility of settling snow, if as shown it snows from 11/12 right until 7pm, just a possibility, I think the low needs to move off the the east before dew points and temperature make that small but significant drop. I say this as the temperature is forecast for 0c for 4 hours, allowing the ground to drop below freezing, even if the ground is saturated the slush will remain and snow settles on top, which is horrible snow as is horrible and wet but it’s still something
  10. Correct me if I’m wrong but this low has tracker much further into the country than models hence the rain/snow all day
  11. Hence the marginality, but as the low sinks away cold air is dragged in, I have a good feeling!!
  12. We are forecast heavy snow for all of southeast, just wait trust me it will come, similar to yesterday, read it’s due to the warm sea temperatures at this early stage of winter
  13. I’ve just got the train from benfleet to west horndon for work, west horndon is rural Brentwood, I’m not kidding it’s pelting down with snow here, doesn’t look like it’s rained at all although all roads are clear and slight thaw
  14. BBC suggest more snow tommorow early morning and throughout day for southern central and soothe eastern areas, really exciting week if you ask me
  15. I’m in canvey where it is snowing, and settling in some places, however my mum lives in margaretting, south of Chelmsford and she has a nice layer of snow with blizzard like wind, loving today best in years, I can tell a lot of people won’t be on here they’ll be outside
  16. To be honest there’s 12 if that until the band of precipitation reaches all counties
  17. Essex County council, have done a full grit run, we have light moderate and heavy runs, which is the indication towards the temperature and ice levels forecasts by the met office, done all the routes we have for Essex today, first run was at 7 am, then around 1/2pm, then there will be one at 8pm and 2am, and so on for the possibility of any snow tommorow, just thought I’d let you know, makes you a little excited if they are preparing for something, has the commercial forecast got something we don’t know about
  18. Does this mean the snow boundary has become a little further south again?
