Well that's all she wrote.. there are some more possible showers incoming but by the time they make it inland it's nothing really. Managed to see a few flakes fall at least.
All in all poor showing for here.
Congratulations to those who were in the right spot. Nice and cold at least.
I want the flood water in my back garden to freeze solid!!

Try this
Rain Weather United Kingdom and Ireland, Satellite Weather United Kingdom and Ireland, Weather Forecast, Rainfall, Clouds, Sun in United Kingdom and Ireland - SAT24.com
EN.SAT24.COMRain Weather United Kingdom and Ireland, Satellite Weather United Kingdom and Ireland, Weather Forecast, Rainfall, Clouds, Sun in...Yes what I have been using showing that big lump out in North sea reloading the showers. It has been out there for some time.

I got absolutely pelted by those tiny ice balls this afternoon in Burton! The clouds seemed constipated!
I was out delivering in it all day getting annoyed about how rubbish it was lol. That it was a waste of snow.

Not quite sure how that useless met Office app can predict heavy snow showers here at midday tomorrow.
Apparently It's got heavy snow all night into tomorrow for me.
It has has snow and heavy snow now for the past 4 hours and at no point has it snowed. We had those tiny ice balls all day. All melted and everything still green.
I keep looking at it and thinking maybe it knows something I don't and I keep looking at radar.
But no it doesn't and it is useless.

Just got in from work nice and cold all day roads fine here no settled snow all green here.
Had rubbish tiny snow ball snow showers all day but all melted.
We are in the perfect position to miss all showers into tonight. I have no clue what the BBc app for my area is smoking because I just don't see hours of heavy snow.
Radar looks poor..
Been around 0c all day.

Very poor here, woke up to everything still green. Showers mostly dying in the East Midlands, this wasn't in the forecast.
Yeah rubbish here as usual all the showers weakened before they get to us or miss all together, I am not complaining too much as I am out driving. But would be nice if we had a little more.
We never seem do do great for snow from the east. Nice and cold yes but not snow.
It's a pity because when we do get some from northerly setups they tend to be marginal with temperature so it never sticks around. Get decent cold in from the east no snow.
It's nice out and about though those pathetic tiny snow balls.

Nothing to talk about here snow wise, Nice and cold though.
About to head outside I better wrap up.

Lovely rain here.
Looking forward to cold weather though even if no snow.
Not expecting any this whole period never do well from these which is sad because when we do well here it's usually not cold enough to stick around.
Just got cold enough to snow and all the precipitation has past.
-
Looking forward to the upcoming cold spell.
Pity alot of us seem to be in the wrong place for snow chances.
Nevermind a few crisp mornings and nice frosts will do me.
Anything else will be a bonus.

Managed to dodge the rain today It had already passed over this morning when I woke up it was just the dreggs. All wet not white.
Saw Some nice pics from my sister in shef, the got quite abit of snow.
Second band of rain coming in now I really hope we get a break soon of this constant rainy weather our garden is flooded worse than last year and it is getting very concerning. Nowhere for dog to go toilet it's all underwater coming closer to the backdoor. The house is higher up but my outbuilding with all our stuff in it is not really don't want to have to move it all out.
Looking forward to the weekend with possible cold weather incoming not going to hold my breath I have seen these setups disappear with a day to go..
On the plus side if it does freeze my whole garden will be an ice rink.
6c here damp and dreary.
My outbuilding roof is leaking also so thrown a big tarp on that. It's all fun times. Lots of work to be done in summer.. I don't know what I can do to stop the garden flooding we are landscaping it all next year but if it is going to flood like this It will ruin everything.
Past the pillars it is around 6inches deep and in the low spots of the garden it's more than a foot.

Just about to go out to defrost the wife's car and the van sitting at -2c here at the mo it did get to around -4.5c so the milder air is coming in and I expect temps to rise significantly with another big melt today.
The rain incoming later that is the end for now. Would have rather it stuck around a few days longer we had such a good amount for once couple of ice days would have been nice.
Nevermind maybe a couple more prospects to come.

North I think for snow tomorrow and Thurs, then next Sunday is interesting on UKMO, but GFS blasts Atlantic through
Ok so a week or so before any chances.
Nice one thanks.
Pity this period now did not last a couple days longer even with just cold and no snow.
-
Are we heading into a mild period after tonight?
They all seem to be going nuts in the mod thread from the gem in Fl that are so up and down there it's cray.
Shows a scandi high and a BFTE.
Is this going to be a few days of mild coming or a couple weeks of rain and horribleness?

Was brilliant today out and about delivering roads were ok side roads abit dodgy had some fun with the handbrake.
Pity that it is thawing pretty fast for the most part. It is so beautiful round here really was in the sweetspot yesterday after always complaining.
Happy now this is the best we have done for many many years.
Temps are falling away here 1.8c at the mo got upto around 3c. We had a very brief but annoying rain shower which sped up the thaw slightly.
A nice freeze tonight but looks like the end from tomorrow.
-
Was great here overall after slow start many hours of falling snow. Fair amount on the ground.
Best we have seen for many years have a good night all.
Be safe, not looking forwards to roads tomorrow morning.
