    looks like a chunk of the midlands miss out on the warnings tomorrow - they are to the north and south of us, missing nuneaton / Hinckley/ Leicester etc. You couldn't write it!

    Gutted! Hinckley did ok in December, but not spectacular 10cm... We missed out Dec 2010 too, snow to the north and south of us but only hard hoar frosts in this area. Where my parents lived they had snow to the knee (Mansfield). personally want to see it fall, and if at all possible be a bit more ‘disruptive’and cover roads etc! Nothing too extreme. Im off at the minute, where can I drive too, to see some of the white stuff? Is it safe. Hahah

    we are out of the warning now for Wednesday - we were in the warning earlier it seems? ps how can I change my name.., everyone seems to have nick names but it won't allow me to change mine for some reason?

    How Much have you got in Leicester>? We have around 10 cm in Hinckley but its not settled since it became Dark really, nothing on the cars since they were cleared. Not has much as others but happy we have a good covering Hoping we get some later
