    Got some tiny powdery snow falling, settling on the snow on ground but insta melting on surfaces where the was no snow

    Luckily my kids school is only 90second walk ! They usually shut after a cpl cm of snow as we live in the sticks !!! Here's hoping for lunchtime snowmageddon and snowman building into the late afternoon with the kids ! (north Kent)

    North Kent made 2c today with dew point -1 all day here, I have ice n frost all day plus a few icicles holding and growing since yesterday ! I highly doubt we will see rain ! So long as dew point remains 0 or below we should be sorted ! Stay safe all x

    Quite a non-specific forecast after Friday afternoon by the BBC. Very brief graphics shown for Saturday... Feel there's a lot of uncertainty hence the lack of detail. East Kent showed barely anything... I'm in north Kent.

    i have heard thunder in the distance for last 30mins or so - gradually getting somewhat darker and just started to rain here now, breezy too

    quite impressed with this snow - must be pretty cold out as many cars driving past making tracks in the snow - but the tracks are covered again within a few mins, not bad for being only 5m above sea level nice orangey sky

    nice covering on grass now, not setteling on roads/path yet, been snowing steadily for an hour or so, seems to be 'wet' snow at the moment tho [not sleet]

    LOL at least your snowman was huge - the carrot I used for my snowmans nose was bigger than the actual snowman itself lol, hence it wasnt long before it became decapitated lol kids were chuffed with it tho lol cant realistically see any snow potentialy for my area for tonight/tomoz as this low does its thing, hugely wet outside and not particually cold.

    thing is they have shut the 2 playgrounds because of the snow - so the poor kids only get to look at the snow lol
