    my kids were gutted their school was open today, must be the only 1 in medway that still is, I even questioned the headmistress stating that its gonna get bad later and she was very flippent about it lol been snowing here for about an hour - looks to get heavy soon too, so guess i will be venturing out in a downpour of snow to get the kids home from school lol

    I have a good 2-3 inches here, snowed pretty much all night but of the powder type snow, NOT industrial sized flakes therefore wasnt expecting massive amounts but still chuffed and more to come later - gonna keep an eye on rogers post tracking this low coming out of france soon, and im sure Steve Murr will be along soon to update us with his thoughts for today gratz all those who have some of the illusive white stuff ! H

    really is windy i can see the wind picking the snow up off the road and swirling ti round, also more rublings of thunder !!

    lol im debating wether to do the kids school packed lunches for tomorrow but all it takes is for Cliffe to get an inch of snow and the only road into the villiage is cut off lol

    blowing about so much out here that one side of the road has a sparse covering but the other has heavy covering - gonna b hard to get accurate measurement of depth lol loving the way its piling up on the windows tho lol

    coming down heavy again here in N Kent on top of the 4cm already on the ground, had a lil thaw but is being topped up quite nicely at the moment

    Drizzely rain here, very windy, looks all set to be a very wet and very windy evening, beautiful blue sky to my east - looks flipping awful towards the south/west.

    OOO huge amounts of pretty much non-stop lightening now! Still chucking it downand roof still leaking..using 3 pans now instead of 2 :o

    HUGE amounts of rain - VERY HEAVY lots of thunder and lightening , been like this for around 40 mins now... and to top it all my conservatory roof is now leaking !!! :o

    I hate Wasps and any insect that stings, my daughter suffers from a rare disease so shes very sensitive to stinging insects etc - therefore I have invested in a fly screen for the back door ! its fab [only £4 on ebay!] - no more panicing when a bee/wasp/gnat is flying about ! Honey

    moderate continious snow for approx 2 hours, started to settle an hour or so ago...but actually looks like its already dissapearing !!!!!

    very dark grey sky at the moment, had a snizzley 2 minute shower about 20 mins ago, the patter on the conservatory roof gave that one away otherwise id have missed it. current temp is: 2.0 c pressure : 1009hpa wind: NNE
