Im one of the layperson's so maybe its not my place to say. I do see alot of panic ( maybe to strong a word)that were not going to get anything of cold and i know fr9m following posts from last winter that ssw's dont always deliver. But i also remember that the models couldn't get to grips with the effects of the ssw till much closer to the cold spell we had. Now if im reading right from here the ssw is still happening? So would the models show anything yet? And even if they were, past say t144 isnt gospel anyway

Id of been 7/8yrs, if i remember correctly that was the winter i went to my friends house for an hr or so after school, came out of hers to go home and there must of been at least 10cm of snow within that short time

Your right. I remember. Peeps seem to be panicking alot this winter. Maybe its because we've not had many cold days this winter yet and that the models are showing alot of mild weather , not in nw anyway . Im no expert far from it i just cruze the posts to get a better insight of whats happening with the weather

There a couple of homless ppl in Liscard where i live if i see them I'll be getting them an extra warm blanket and some scafs,gloves etc.. iv just let the pup out for the loo only 2min and my hands are already freezing
