Well meto have a yellow warning for snow and ice for us now.

It is bad out there at the moment and prob going to be for the next 24 hours. Even the weather dog didn't want to go out for long. After 5 mins he wanted to come back in. Had to towel him off which means its torrential rain out there.

It does seem to be very insular and over moderated to be honest. Metcheck back then used to be quite good but I suppose there wasn't much competition about.

It was frosty at 4pm strangely but milder as the eve wore on.

I'm at 270m asl. I can confirm it's raining. A lot. Just sent the weather dog out and it came back in wet.

Daffodils come out regardless of the weather. 2018 they were almost fully out before they got buried in the snow.

Honestly I despair with some people. Just been reading in the moaning thread and the amount of 'winters over, ' next winter for snow' is unreal. It will all probably change in a few days. How can you predict something that is constantly changing? One thing I have learnt the last few weeks is that reading the models is a complete waste of time and your life. People read what they want into them. Basically if its forecast over 5 days away it will probably change.

We'll either have a 30 degree heatwave or 17 feet of snow.

Just saw the BBC Wales forecast. I think most parts will see some falling snow on friday but whether it will settle is another thing. Still, Its early winter yet. Stay positive.

Was just about to say, I bet the meto app will change as it was showing a little snow for thurs and fri. Just checked and its gone now. Surprise surprise.

If my eyes didn't deceive me just saw a few tiny flakes in New Tredegar. That was it though. Hopefully we'll see a few more on friday.
