  1. Met office pretty atrocious with their warnings. None for today and this. Similar one day last week and another day they had a warning and nothing happened anywhere while met eireann had none that day and were correct.  Met Éireann more on the money orange warning out for today. And met office have one out for tomorrow, doubt it will be as bad as today.

  2. I'm very happy for all who seen the historic snow event. From a personal point of view it's been horrendous lol, not even a dusting. I would have been happy with a bit on the ground, no such luck. Exhausted radar watching this week all in vain lol. 5 years since the last big blizzard on the island. God knows when it'll happen again, I hope to... I don't miss out next time haha

Think it will be slightly different n amber area. Maybe yellow warning might get that. Depends how recent that was updated. I will go with meto. But it could be wrong but doubt it this close.

    Met office

    This Evening and Tonight:

Mainly cloudy with further snow showers, mostly across southern counties. Some longer spells of snow across Down and Armagh. Strong to gale winds will bring drifting of lying snow. Minimum temperature -4 °C.

    Friday:

More snow showers in the morning, mainly in the south, but easing through the day. Again the strong to gale easterly winds will bring drifting of lying snow. Maximum temperature 2 °C.

Crap for the NW. Could be decent with you.
