I wonder what dataset they are using to come to that conclusion?
I’m no expert when it comes to that charts that get discussed on the model thread, but that chat on there seems to think 40c is getting likelier as time goes on.

Looking back on the radar, the current blob made landfall at pretty much the same spot, albeit it was smaller.

I’m flying into Edinburgh Airport and then driving home to Kelso at around midnight on Sunday morning. Is my journey likely to be adversely impacted?
