i've switched to the Buienradar satellite image which shows clear development in the far reaches of the Thames Estuary . . . the radar on the same site shows nothing interesting bizarre

don't worry - all the little monkeys can enjoy it later in the week when the schools shut down once a centimeter of snow has brought the country to its knees . . .

i've got a lovely glow to the NE courtesy of an old style streetlamp which the authorities haven't replaced with LED . . . it's the only one in the street !! Damn them . . .
