  1. you could always try adding boiling water to it and see what happens . . .
  2. those 6 hours will give me more snow than I have seen in the last 8 years . . . .

  4. we don't need that system to move too far north otherwise it could end up more wet than white . . . .
  5. perfect . . . that would give me 130 miles of southern North Sea for the easterly to whip up into a frenzy of snow clouds . . .

  9. I've recently has LED lighting put in - was a bit sceptical at first but it's great for watching snow at night

  11. it's interpreting the charts, local knowledge . . . . and a sprinkling of fairy dust ;-)
  12. Southend, and more so Basildon, tend to do really well from a Thames streamer . . . in the event of an E, rather than a NE, then prone areas in S Essex will fair well - and I expect them to over the next week or so
  13. I'm in Southend and am confident that you'll get a good 6 inches
