    They get an awful lot of snow for an island, considering they're a lower latitude than us what is it with that region that produces so much for them while we barely get scraps ? Also what a miserable overcast day today is, barely any light all that's missing is some rain

    Still snowing but it has eased off and it's just light now, still not sticking either maybe it will change now it's getting into night

    It was definitely snowing here at 4:20am when I had a peek out the window but it was just melting on the pavement/road and only just sticking to the grass but it's all gone now

    Still had ice on the car windows at 1pm this afternoon in the shade but what wasn't scraped quickly melted in the sun, looking at the Met O post it looks like rain on the coast Maybe we'll get lucky though and get some snow

    Woke up to some snow or what looked like snow but it had already started melting and is mostly gone now but it's the first snowfall that I can actually remember since 2012 (There was probably some snow since then but it wasn't rememberable and likely this years will be forgotten too)

    Felt a bit christmassy this morning, water that was on the bird table was frozen first freeze I've seen for what feels like a very long time

    Saw on the news mentions of a strong La Nina which also mentioned we haven't had one since 2010/11 and we all remember that winter so here's hoping (although it's not the best time to have a blisteringly cold winter with Covid)

    Looking at the big blob of rain heading our way I think there's no chance of seeing the Draconids tonight, seems to always be rain or at minimum clouds when there's something interesting in the sky

    The breeze on the coast here was chilly as well while I was out on my bike, was wishing I'd gone out with my fleece on, sun was nice where it was sheltered from wind though

    Looks to be a nice day today, not as cold as previous days no doubt the cloud will mug up the sky at some point but enjoying the sun at the moment

    Another cold start, only managing 15 at the moment even with sunny skies, it's starting to become that awkward time of the year though where midday to evening is t-shirt & short weather but morning & evenings are much too cold for it

    How about just cloud cover ? Got to be in top 3 for sure ? Starting to get noticeably colder now, feel like I need the heating on but a hoodie will have to suffice

    No Lightning here but we did get a nice bright rainbow with a duller double rainbow

    Just rain here not expecting anything else rest of the week looks pretty bland as well with plenty cloud

    Indeed it is! Today we're back to miserably cloudy although it's still feels fairly warm even though we're only at 20 degrees
