    Any news on the 6 week ECM? I’ve probably missed stuff but was it updated last night? And do we know what it looks like?

    Hopefully we’ve seen from the latest ECM following the 46 dayer from the other day that it won’t be dropping its signals... let’s hope

    No precipitation here at all yet in Bromley, feels so cold but probably not for snow anymore

    Anyone feeling optimistic about snow tomorrow? That event in November gave me some when I wasn’t expecting it to get to my low level above sea, so maybe still some hope?

    Nope and I’d be surprised if it did considering there’s lots of standing water from the rain so it’s too warm and the snow isn’t heavy enough at all

    Some good big flakes now I’m actually surprised this snow has come off but it’s just starting to happen.

    Seems like that hail, graupel sort of thing here - very heavy for a time though

    Those ensembles look like they have far less scatter now at the end of the timeframe than a lot of runs recently, looking good at the moment

    Yep some very nice patterns being forecast, shame it’s so far off and will no doubt be changed somehow — but I guess it’s better than it not showing up at all

    Watched a video the other day where they showed historical charts about winters that followed summers which were similar to this summer. There were wild swings from cold to mild, so no real trend was seen based on history. It seems the summer patterns themselves don’t matter too much, but I’m sure there must be something in it

    Could be wrong, but a more active hurricane season will move more warmth up to the arctic as the storms move along their path. More heat in the arctic could mean colder conditions for winter here in the uk. I think...

    In France today with clear skies, and mars, Saturn, the moon, Jupiter and Venus are all in a perfect arc across the sky

    The noticeable difference today is the lack of wind, really calm air which just makes it feel that much hotter in the sun

    Same here really the temps are all quite low. Mind you I have 28 for Sunday so that’ll probably be 34 so it’s obviously not having a great time

    Amazing day so far I’m up to 26 degrees already here in south London with very little breeze so it feels hot

    A lot brighter now - hopefully that will be pushing temperatures up and helping storms

    Been in Eastbourne all day - just annoying low cloud and mist - feels warm though. Looking at the radar I’ve been missing some great storm action in Bromley back home
