    Equally so, it could be the coldest Christmas on record, it is way too early to tell. The ensembles are slowly but surely trending colder around the Christmas period, so I find your confidence staggering.

    Well, the mean is above average from start to finish, what is encouraging about that? For my money, ECM is on to something - it's been sniffing around the idea of a more blocked outlook for sometime and just won't give up on it!
