  1. Yesterday was a funny day. Very hot when I popped out at lunchtime (1pm) - It then clouded over with a few drops of rain early afternoon before going nice again. Cooling down early evening. One thing I did notice was the darkness at 8.30pm. A very sad sight (I'm a believer in us being on CET) A fair bit of rain forecast this afternoon , the first major drop since that vile Friday (16th August)
  2. Beautiful start to the morning although it's now clouded over as forecast. Quite warm Hopefully the forecast continues to be as accurate, skies becoming clear at lunchtime and staying that way for the foreseeable.
  3. It's quite muggy out there, rather nice temperature. If the sun can break through it will be very warm Still no sign of rain though which is good. Is that 3 days on the spin?
  4. Very similar day to yesterday here. We had a light shower around 11am but now some lovely spells of warm sunshine. A good summers day for getting out and about.
  5. I don't recall 20 days with rain in June, but I am a few miles South. I'm pretty sure fathers day was dry? And the 1st (derby day) we had about 10 minutes light rain at 10am and now it's glorious sunshine and a decent forecast. I could cope with this every Saturday!
  6. Would that be due to intense periods (I remember that bad week in June for example) I'd be interested in days of rain, hours of sunshine stats if available.
  7. Would be interested to see some stats. I've enjoyed plenty of nice weather , but there's definitely been some very horrible days.
  8. One word for today. Filth There's been plenty of good summer weather in the last 3 months but also plenty of rubbish. We seem to flip between the two. This week being a perfect example, Tuesday/Thursday very pleasant summer days. Wednesday/Friday absolutely vile. Can't we just have 2 weeks of nice quiet , normal weather. 21 degrees and sunny intervals
  9. After a 15 minute deluge at 11am it's been a very nice summers day here. Some lovely spells of sunshine.
  10. Beautiful summers day here. Plenty of warm sunshine. Very hot at times
  11. A truly atrocious "summer's day" Glad the test match didn't start today
  12. What a grim weekend. Just hope for better from Thursday #ashes
  13. Woeful day so far. Persistent rain for the last 6 hours.
  14. Just had a few spots of rain but appears to be brightening up again
  15. Spot of light rain this evening. Nothing to write home about there. probably get more than a splash on Friday, then hopefully a few days of glorious weather
  16. Mainly a dull day but feeling very warm in the limited sunshine. Feeling very muggy early evening and there were a few spots of rain but nothing major. Bit fresher now. Constantly looking at forecasts but still no idea what Thursday might bring for the cricket
  17. Beautiful out there now. Looks like a lovely afternoon ahead. My kind of summers afternoon.
  18. Well that was a vile old "summer's day" and we are still suffering some mizzle now. Are we gonna get any of the heatwave? There is suddenly a rather vital cricket match on Sunday.
  19. Today was beautiful. I don't know what temperature it reached but lots of blue sky, warm sun and the occasional cloud to give you a break. A perfect summer's day
  20. What can we expect in the West Midlands from the latest models (temperature wise)
