    Not been a bad couple of days to end one of the memorable summers. Still feeling really pleasant in any sunshine, may eek one more day out before we have to think about coats, brollies and heaven forbid, a blast of heating.

    Raining steadily again in WS3. We must have had more than our fair share for the month this week, anyone counting? After this has passed , thankfully it's looking much more settled going forward.

    Yet more nasty drizzly rain in WS3 this morning. I know they say we need it, but I really haven't missed it.

    Yeah, that's enough now. And the test series starts today.. Sunday's models are improving, no longer looking a washout

    There was rain in the forecast for Monday (14th) but it seems to be disappearing.. It's gorgeous out there and set fair for the week (some models longer than that) I get the need for rain and ideally we could have a couple of overnights where it pours down, but it's only August 9th. I'm well up for a few more weeks summer (especially as there's no abroad trips planned) When we are all paying those robbing energy companies in November we will remember these days with envy.

    Great day here, sunny all day only really hazing over about 6pm. now steady rain is falling and we may get a fair bit in WS3.

    Typical with the commonwealth games about to begin. models don't seem to be accurate at all. They were pointing to a lovely weekend here a couple of days ago, but last night the BBC were forecasting showers for Saturday and Sunday.

    Hottest I've experienced was Perth , WA. Officially It was 43, I was at the cricket and slathered in cream but you could see your skin bubbling.
