The model thread is very down this morning. a week of cold but no snow then back to mild.. roll on March -

Yeah, that's the one. I followed him for a long time on various formats and he always takes time to explain his thought process (like you though a bit deep for me) , always giving a summary of what he thinks could happen and why. Lets hope for some dry , bright weather to start with and kick on from there.

Virtually everyone I've spoken to since Christmas has had some kind of bug, and they've all said the same thing, we need some really cold weather to shift it

Walking to work in Willenhall this morning. Lidl have lost a lot of fence panels.

Looking like a very grim Christmas day, guess that sums the year up. My memory might be playing tricks but Christmas day always feels like it plays ball. Model watchers getting excited for Saturday.

Nothing very festive on offer this week, strangely mild and probably another pelting of rain on Tuesday.

Think we've had enough water this year to cover about 3 dry summers (hopefully) Horrible morning, stopped briefly but a dreadful forecast for the rest of the day. Warming up a bit though, heating has been caned this last few days!

Wouldn't surprise me at all if we get a snow event this year, we seem to be having a year of very strange weather. October summing it all up, from record heat to record rain in 2 weeks. yesterday was one of the vilest days I can ever remember

I love seasons as much as the next weather enthusiast, but I never want to put the heating on in early October. I don't think that's what we should be expecting of early Autumn. Mid October at a push, but ideally Halloween. Half way through Autumn.

Interesting that the last two years , the 7th of October it's been above 20 degrees.. So it's not unusual (as we keep being told)

This is quite late for a summery spell but quite happy to see it. I like Autumn but quite happy to save it for mid October to the end of November, and save Winter for winter -
