  1. Yes this time last week, Today was looking very nice. We had outdoor plans. In the Midlands this afternoon has been very wet
  2. 26 degrees on the 1st of October? Walsall Weather Forecast for the next 7 Days | Netweather WWW.NETWEATHER.TV The latest hour-by-hour weather forecast for Walsall today, and over the next 7 days. Includes pollen count and UV index.
  3. Stunning day here today, clear blue skies till lunchtime and then just a few clouds. That'll do
  4. The end of the Meteorological (as Shefali keeps telling us) -ending on a dull, damp and drizzly note. Rather apt I don't think I can remember a worse spell of weather, which started in my memory on July 8th (local events ruined by heavy rain) - I think it's probably seemed worse because of the constant low pressure at weekends. What do the stats show, where does this rank in terms of rainfall and sunshine hours? On a positive note, turn the calendar tomorrow and the weather is changing, but then as we all know.. It is STILL summer!
  5. I think this summer seems so bad because of the situation at weekends, even yesterday which wasn't a bad day overall was modelled to be so much better.
  6. Popped out at lunch, a few sunny moments but mostly cloud. Shame, but at least it's warm
  7. 12 degrees and 12pm on the first Saturday in August. That will have to be some kind of record if it comes off.
  8. BBC Weather App, and the local news this morning stating 15 degrees for Saturday
  9. The last day of the month and yet more steady rain. I wonder how the total will end and where it will end up in the all time records?
  10. So a lovely day, felt like July. Could have done without the flying ants though
  11. Did you get the relentless rain last night in Sedgley? We had 5 hours of heavy stuff that hit Walsall, and I don't recall it being modelled.
  12. Don't know if historical models exist. I'm reading a book about the Ashes in 1985 (which ran from June to early September) and there is just constant moaning about the weather in it. Is this a similar pattern?
  13. After a decent day, it was quite sunny and warm at lunchtime, it's now been hammering down for 2 hours. The BBC saying we've had 137% of our expected rainfall for July, still 5 days to go. I wonder where this will end up in terms of wettest July 's?
  14. A fairly decent day here, yesterday's wind chill had pretty much gone and there was a bit more sun. The kids broke up by us today, could we just be getting somewhere...
  15. Blimey this wasn't supposed to be this difficult. I came here to say the models looked bad for this week, we've had 2 good days out of 3, tomorrow looks fine too. That was all.
  16. Saturday doesn't look good. That wasn't my point. As Saturday hasn't happened yet.
  17. Doom and gloom everywhere, but today was a nice Summers day here.. Early rain cleared by 8 and apart from one brief shower , loads of sunshine and light winds
  18. Cracking day in the Midlands today, had a bit of early rain. Cleared by 8am.. 1 small shower at 1 (5 minutes) but other than that , lots of warm sunshine. Breeze wasn't even that cool. did the models predict that a few days out?
  19. Cricket has been used a bit lately on this forum. So if we were to look at that, They've managed 5 balls and are now into their second day in Cardiff. In Blackpool they managed 28 balls yesterday, They are playing today though. Somerset lost a session in the afternoon yesterday. So you could say the west had a bit of a horror day
