  2. Hearing thunder in Brum and the humidity has just shot up.
  3. Can see the tops of the Wales cell here in Birmingham. It looks incredible.
  4. Can just about see the top of the Warwick cell from here.
  5. Its also growing slower than yesterday so it may stand a chance!
  6. Indeed, it looked like the apocalypse, then 10mins later was bright and sunny.
  7. I really hope we don't get a repeat of yesterday with that cell in Warwick
  8. Off topic quickly, out of interest has anyone thought about making a discord channel or something similar for this forum? Would be a nice idea
  9. Its unreal isn't it. Can't believe the jump in temps over the last couple of hours, don't think ive ever experienced anything like that before.
  10. My area has actually got maybe 1.5 degrees hotter today than it was meant too, were being forecast 29-30 its now 31.3. Good news. Considering it was still 23c at 1 this afternoon, not bad going.
  11. Patch of instability to the south of London seems to be growing now too.
  12. Look at the Sat, im not quite sure whats happening to the south right now, but it looks as if clouds are flying in lots of different directions
  13. Noticed it on the Sat before the radar tbh. Just see what happens as usual
  14. Looks like the South may well be the breeding grounds for the storms at this rate.
  15. Tbh I can feel that somewhat up here too. It feels rather humid even though its not that warm yet.
  16. Lucky! Theres been some low cloud here all morning that wouldn't shift. Its finally gone temps are ''slowly climbing'' now. But that does sound way to much down there!
  17. Will keep you updated if I see anything over my area. Always interesting to know whats going on in different areas. And you are totally right those apps always fall behind, we need some centralised way to report on severe weather.
  18. Agreed, I try and avoid those morning forecasts as they're always uploaded the night before. And 90% of the time it all changes if the conditions are like this.
  19. Think its time to get a new camera and tripod for next years storm season.
